370, General Bartolomé Mitre, AAH, Provincia de Buenos Aires, B1648, Argentina.
It is a contemporary art space with an innovative proposal, located in an emblematic place of the city, right in front of the River Station of Tigre, with a rich building history that directs its programs to the dissemination of contemporary Argentine art in the northern area of Buenos Aires. These features play a particularly important role as this attracts a specific audience for art in a space of great cultural development, considered an area of influence of the Municipality. Old house standing since 1910, later converted into a hotel, today 'House of Cultures' features an exhibition space of 116 square meters distributed in 4 rooms, with a program that is oriented towards new trends and innovation, with multiple purposes: to disseminate the work of local artists, bring proposals of renowned Argentine artists to the local community and create a new prestigious exhibition space that advocates decentralization by being located outside the traditional areas and institutions of the City of Buenos Aires.
